The Band's Review:
A pretty cool gig, made all the more interesting due to its local-ness!
It was a tricky one for me personally, because I was struggling to get over a nasty cold and the fact that I had sliced my thumb open in a fajita related accident! Anyway, I was just about able to play and sing on the day!
It was nice to play in the Bull & Vic, which is not really the sort of place I would normally even go in, let alone play in! However, the guys from the Rock Matrix run it as a rock/live night on Tuesdays, which makes it safely habitable for normal people (Goths, metallers, skaters etc,etc).
The set was very good, and it marked the debut of “Hairy Palms” a new song we’ve been working on. It all went pretty well, and we felt we were doing our bit to contribute to an emerging local scene. Very cool.
