The Band's Review:

The first lonelyband show of 2006…cracking little set it was too!

There wasn’t too much fuss about this one, being on a low key January Tuesday, but we played a brief, loud and really tight set. “Black” is sounding really wicked now, and it’s getting harder and harder to find room in the set for older material (even “Hell is other people” didn’t make the cut this time! Gasp!).

Tarik threw us a curveball when he counted in “See it through” in Turkish, and the whole thing fell immediately and laughably apart! We’ll have to practice our Turkish before the next show!

The plan is to take a bit of time away from the live circuit to recharge our batteries and work on the third record, and I honestly think that it will be something *really* special.

We do, however have one more gig before our itinerary is clear… a local one- so hopefully some of us will be drunk again! Hehehe!

Here’s to a great lonely2006!
